The ASU game...

I was at the ASU/CAL game Saturday night. What an exciting game.


I seriously had the best fun I have had in a long time. It was great fun cheering for ASU next to CAL's band...and CAL fans.



The Sun Devils take on Oregon this weekend...hopefully they can keep the momentum...strength and speed alive and win!!!


Go Dun Devils.



PS: They play UGA next year....at ASU. Do you KNOW how excited I am for that game?!

the BCS and why its BS

ASU should not be ranked at 4....they have proven themselves better than BC....they SHOULD bew Number 2....ahead of BC..ahead of LSU.


MICHIGAN- back in the Biakabutuka days I was a UM fan. For those few years he played there....now. Michigan lost two games. Understandable. They are still a strong football team. Michigan however lsot to an unranked NOT Division 1 school.


USC- my Trojans <3. How I love them. They play competitive schools. They play a schedule where EVERY team has a chance to go to a bowl game. Even though they lost to Stanford. 1) It ISN'T the biggest upset in college football history and 2) Stanford could play in the Rose Bowl....Appalachian State....not so much.


So, granted USC and MIchigan BOTH lost twice, but for the BCS to put Michigan ahead of a three-loss Auburn, two-loss USC, two-loss 'Bama is stupid. These teams play a tough schedule. Sure they had a bad game...nobody is going to win ALL the TIME...but as far as USC goes....losing two games....one by a touchdown to a top 5 bcs team and the other to a team who yeah sucks but stands a chance of going to the Grandaddy of them all....is stupid...


and putting LSU (although they are a strong team) against this years Sun Devils....lame. LSU barely won the last 2/3 games they played....if USC barely won like that....the BCS would have them out of the top 25 as quickly as you can say BCS.

I know they are struggling a little...I am not asking for USC to be ranked at No. 1...they don't deserve No.1, but I don't think they should be as far down as they are...not when Michigan and Auburn are that much ahead of them.....if Oregon KILLED us...yeah okay, but Oregon beat us by a TOUCHDOWN...it wasn't even a real touchdown....it was SIX points.....

another crazy week.....another shaken top ten....like last week I'll do top ten ap and bcs....frankly I'm digging the AP a little more this year...

Number One Overall...in both polls...OSU....plays Penn State at PSU

BC...#2 in both polls.....plays VA Tech...who us #8 overall

LSU is bye...I think...

ASU....number 4 in the BCS...number 8 in the AP....they play CAL at HOME and its HOMECOMING. I will be at that game and sending my happy spirits onto the Devils.

Oregon...number 5 in both.....plays MY USC. I think I am more nervous for this game than any other game this season...Fight on!

OU....number 6 in BCS...number 4 in the AP....

West VA...number 7 BCS and 6 in AP...plays Rutgers...who just last week shocked USF

VA Tech...number 8....plays BC....one of these teams will lose. It's inevitable....so VA Tech loses...they drop out of the top ten...and if BC loses they will drop a few spots...the curse of Number 2 and 5 this year....

Kansas....number 9. in the BCS (12 in AP)..plays Texas A&M, and those Aggies....lemme tell ya they have it in them...

USF....#10 in the BCS (11 in AP)....play Connnecticut (23)...can USF come back? I think they just might!

UF.....#11 in the BCS (tied at 9 with USC in the AP) play.......#18 UGA (20 in AP)....I have issues....two-loss Florida ahead of a one-loss USC?! Go Dawgs on this one!

and saving the best for last my USC (ranked 12 and 9) plays number 5 Oregon....fight on...ight on...

I only watched the second half of the game today....it was an early game and I was in my Sunday routine...


I didn't see Matty on the sidelines...


I am happy Warner got to play


I am sad that Rackers missed hte field goal


I am really sad we lost with mere seconds.


Such a close game though...


This team is a strong team. I love watching Fitzgerald play football....he is a genius.

All I can say Will Witherspoon is the reason the Cards are screwed when it comes to QBs this season.

Another side note: I think it is very funny that Will Witherspoon went to UGA...you all know my "love" for SEC football.

I don't get it...

I am very proud of my #2 ASU and their #8 in the BCS


but I was a basket case when I saw the AP poll and the BCS rankings this afternoon.

I really don't agree with it, and I think that it needs to be re-assessed, but what do I know.

I only called the LSU and Cal losses this week.


This isn't about me being angry that USC is not in the "Top Ten" because they have been playing kinda icky.

I just don't agree.

And not to be a hater towards Ohio State because Sia does go there....but how are they ranked #1 when they beat teams like Akron, Kent State, Youngstown State, Washington, etc. The only ranked team Ohio State beat was Purdue...

Boston College...also play a semi weak schedule...

Maybe I am being a little out of line....


PS: Petros Papadakis was very right on with what he said on the BCS Ranking show....mmhmm he sure was.

All the top ten won but #1 and #2. I know how it feels.

the new top 5? We shall see after the ASU game. I can tell you this much...I don't know if there will be a perfect season for any of these teams...

It will be interesting in the weeks to come that is for sure. You have to keep in mind the stregth schedule of some of these teams....it's a season for the underdogs...



I will admit the LSU/UK game was insanely intense. I hada feeling Kentucky was gonna win it ;)

my oh my what a mix-up this was..

5/10 top ten teams are 1 loss teams....now the way Saturdays have been lately it really is anyones game.....

LSU..plays Kentucky...two pretty good teams...Kentucky's only loss was to #7 USC (not my usc the other usc) so they stand a good chance against this powerhouse Tiger team.


Cal...plays Oregon State...last time Oregon State played a #2 team and won was...last year.....can they Golden Bears stand up against the Beavers? It's a should watch Pac-10 showdown.

OSU....plays Kent State....that's pretty much a no brainer...go Buckeyes!

BC....plays Notre Dame...Notre Dame is coming off a pretty "big" win agains UCLA. Will the Bruins be the ream to bring down BC?

USF!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so proud of my "sister" school. I hope the Bulls keep winning. They play UCF this weekend.

Oklahoma...plays Mizzou....how is a one loss team ahead of a no loss team? I hope Mizzou beats Oklahoma

The funniest conversation of the week...in light of Matt's injury....

(this is not verbatim....but more or less how it went down)

Me: People need to stop being so mean towards Matt. He didn't ASK for all this. You can't blame him for being upset...it's all Denny Green's fault.


dad: How so?

Me: Denny Green acted on an impulse. Matt had one REALLY good quarter and bam! Denny took Kurt Warner's starting job and gave it to Matt....he was impulsive and shouldn't have been. I should know about impulse..i'm a girl..Girl's are impulsive...


Laura: So does that make Denny Green a girl?


Me: *pause* yeah...pretty much

Words cannot explain how upset I am with you right now.


My sports weekend started off awful with the Habs (hockey for those non-hockey folks) and the Trojans and ended with you injuring Matt.

got injured while gettijng sacked by some loser Sunday afternoon.


While coming home from the gym, and listening to Cardinal's radio I wanted to really slap some people. Why the hell would Matt Leinart intentionally want to hurt himself to prove a point?!! Why would anyone intentionally hurt themselves when it comes to work (and $$). Even more so....do people intentionally get sacked? I think not...


I hope he gets better. It bums me out that he is "out" for the next few weeks. Hopefully not for the rest of the season...because that...would....suck.

A second Saturday filled with upsets...


sadly...USC...my Trojans....lost at HOME to....I can't even say it...I think it's that time of the month...it's that one game in October...like last years OSU...


The day was totally like last year also...the game wasn't on tv....AND the Canadiens lost....today...the Habs lost and then the 'SC scor gave me a panic attack....and ugh!

They had a lot of guys out tho....that really explains it...


next week they will win and get back up there but sadly they are not my top 5 pics of the week...

1. LSU...beat Tulane....and jumped USC. This week they plan #9 Florida...a battle of they Top 10...if UF loses that's out of the Top Ten, if LSU loses USC get's #1 back..


2. USC....gave me a freaking panic attack against Washington....that crowd was LOUD. This week they play Stanford and hopefully regain their #1.

3. Cal....oh Cal...how great it is to have TWO Pac-10 teams in the Top 10. They are bye this week and play Oregon State next week.

4. OSU...Sia's school...They should be above Cal..they play Purdue who is coming off a high from beating Notre Dame...lol...do people still get pumped after that win?

5. Wisconsin...overrated...they play Illinois this week...another close call and they will drop again.

6. USF!!!!!! Go Bullls!!! Go Bulls Hockey while I am at it! FAU is who they play...at FAU. My "play money" is still on USF.

7. BC- is playing Bowling Green...not gonna hate on the underdog, but I am pretty sure BC has this one

8- Kentucky- USC as in Carolina....both teams are good. Who can really rep?

9- Florida-plays #1 LSU...read #1 for thoughts...

10- Oklahoma- they play UT who are now #19....if UT wins it is very possible they flip flop spots
