Before I start. Congrats to my favorite boys! I am so so proud of your win last week!!!

So my top ten....

1. USC- Bye
2. OU- Bye
3. UGA plays unranked ASU. I will be at this game. I have high hopes for ASU. Whoever wins it will be at the end of hte 4th with seconds to go. I so want ASU to win this one...
4. UF plays Tennessee. TEbow all the way on this one. My pic...UF
5. Missouri-Buffalo. Mizzou
6. LSU plays #10 Auburn. Geaux Tigers. LSU please.
7. Texas-Rice. TExas
8. Wisconsin- Bye
9. Bama @ Arkansas. Bama
10. Auburn plays #6 LSU. See above. Geaux Tigers.


As for my Conference. The Conference that was so destroyed last week. 7/10 lost last week...what will happen this week?

yesterday and my ranking

as most of you know Joshua over at Bumpshack.com has a football poll, and this marks my third year sending him my "Top 5" picks every Sunday.

This week- this is what I think

1. USC
2. OU
3.UGA

5. OSU

As for yesterday. I was pretty right on with the predictions. I was 9/10 with the 'Top Ten' but with the PAC-10- I was 6 for 6.

Are you impressed?

I am looking more and more forward to the UGA/ASU game. I really think there will be an upset that night :-D

Another Saturday...Some more Top 10!

Ladies and Gents.

My prediction is that the top ten (with the exception of 'SC who is BYE and LSU whose game was postponed) will all win this week. 8 games...most teams are playing significantly weaker teams.


It's ALL about next Saturday's big game. USC v. LSU AT the Coliseum!

Super Saturday

Compared to opening weekend last year the Top Ten were stellar.



Mr. Mandel you are my hero of the day. "There's a bit of a growing backlash for the amount of teams that open with I-AA cupcakes," said Mandel, whose book "Bowls, Polls and Tattered Souls" chronicles college football's controversies. "To see a team [USC] go on the road and play a New Year's Day bowl team from last season, and not only play them but destroy them, how could you not reward that team?"


I am SO proud of USC and the way they played.


But not only USC.

Kudos to the other teams. With huge victories. OU, USC, UF, Mizzou, and Texas (among others)- with 50 plus points and to Georgia, OSU, LSU, and Texas Tech (among others) with 40 plus point victories.

Most of all, one of the rare times I will ever congratulate UCLA. Thank you for being the first of TWO pac-10 teams to beat an SEC team this season. If I had an iPhone I would be blogging LIVE from the ASU/UGA game, but sadly I will post pictures after the game.

Would I have ranked the Top 10 like my friends at the AP? More than likely yes.

See you next week when it will be a very boring football Saturday. No exciting games :(

The good news is that I will be in DC, where I could potential celebrate a Trojan win with 'SC fans :-D

next week USC is off and the following week they play OHio State. Sadly, I will be back in DC that weekend, and won't be able to live blog, but I will be able to live blog the first PAC-10 game of the season!
