Happy Birthday Mr. Leinart

Just wanted to wish my FAVORITE QB Matt Leinart avery happy 25th birthday.

Only 117 days until him and the Cards kick off the regular season!

Can we focus on the positive please?

I made a comment earlier this week on a friends blog. Regarding pictures that surfaced on www.thedirty.com.

The comment that I make when ever somebody in the "public eye" gets caught in a bad situation. You might not want to be a role model, but because of the career path you have chosen...you are one. Make smart decisions, don't get "Caught in a pickle."

But the thing is, everyone is so quick to point and say "WTF is he thinking?!"

He gets A LOT of slack for partying and having a kid, a lot more than TB does. So for that blogger on ESPN to say "he can't win a championship." It's not one person who wins a Championship, it's the whole damn team.

When some idiot from the Rams, sacs you and you are out for the season, it is NOT your fault.

So yeah, poor judgment. What 24 year old doesn't make a bad decision or to (I know I have made some decisions at 24..that I wish I hadn't)

So for now (my three readers out there) take some time out from the gossip sites and hot tub pictures and check out the POSITIVE

I didn't even like the Falcons when I LIVED in Atlanta. What do you think the verdict will be...


will Pete decide to leave beautiful Southern Cal and the best team ever (USC Trojans) for the Diiirrrrty South?

PS: I was slacking during "holiday no-break" and didn't write about that tremendous victory the Trojans had over the Illini(sp?). Congrats boys! You make me proud!

asu...UofA...review

Rain in Tempe makes it so freaking cold. Needless to say...it was very cold last night.

Here is my first comment...


Whether my team is winning or losing I stay to the end.

Last week when 'SC destroyed ASU the stadium was soo empty during the 3rd....this week when they were barely beating UofA it was full.

Support your team. Win or Loss. Support your damn team. Stay til the end. Give them the momentum they need.

This game had it's exciting points, but all in all it was pretty uneventful. The ASU defense had a few good breaks on 4th and a few yards, but it only solidified how much 'SC deserved that Rose Bowl bid! Sorry Sun Devil's fans you can't deny that Carpenter was playing crappy last night.


I am however glad that they do get to share the Pac-10 title. I am glad that they beat UofA.

PS: Stoops has a VERY bad temper.

Yay for Sedric Ellis from the 'SC Trojans. He was named an All-American for the second time!


Less than 48 hours 'til there is some serious Bruin sacking!

the new top ten...

1. Mizzou plays OU and I think Mizzou has it this time around. They are pumped and will win it!

2. West Virginia plays Pittsburg.

3. Ohio State is sitting pretty waiting for one of the above to fall...for a second week in a row

4. UGA shouldn't be ranked this high.

5. Kansas

6. Va Tech plays BC. I almost forgot that earlier in the season BC was #2

7. LSU plays UT. Geaux Tigers on this one.

8. USC plays [F]UCLA. I think USC will win. Why? 1. 'SC is my #1 2. UCLA lost to ND and 'SC shut them out 3. I know some people say that 'SC lostto Stanford and Oregon and UCLA beat both those teams...that's nice, but 'SC beat everyone UCLA lost to...UofA, ASU, WSU, ND...need I say more?

13. ASU plays UofA...I'm going to this game. I really hope that ASU picks up their chins and plays like champions and not let what my Trojans did to them deflate their egos. They have it in them to beat UofA...I know it!!

"the game" review!

oh wow!


It was seriously the best game I have seen in Sun Devil Stadium all year. Even when ASU beat Cal and they almost knocked down the goal posts.

Now with USC being my #1 and ASU being my #2 it was weird not cheering for ASU at Sun Devil Stadium, but #1 ALWAYS tops #2 and that's just how it went Thursday night!

When we got there the team were just about to go on teh field to warmup and we saw most everyone. I tried to get some good shots, but I didn't get that lucky. The guy sitting in front of me said that I could walk to the tunnel and meet the players, so I dragged my sister along and went, but we had to move 'cause they were closing the gate.

When we scored the first touchdown I had to talk some smack with the ASU fans, but then ASU came back and scored ASAP and I almost went deaf...that wasn't so fun.

It was an exciting game for the most part, partly because it was my first 'SC game in person (not counting ASU beating USC in basketball last Feb) and it was a huge rush.

At the end of the game I was standing at the end zone gate and Deuce Lutui was standing about 5 feet away from me, and then, I caught a quick glimpse of JDB through the gate. Next year, I really want to drive/fly to LA for the
USC v ASU game!
