the new top ten...
1. Mizzou plays OU and I think Mizzou has it this time around. They are pumped and will win it!
2. West Virginia plays Pittsburg.
3. Ohio State is sitting pretty waiting for one of the above to fall...for a second week in a row
4. UGA shouldn't be ranked this high.
5. Kansas
6. Va Tech plays BC. I almost forgot that earlier in the season BC was #2
7. LSU plays UT. Geaux Tigers on this one.
8. USC plays [F]UCLA. I think USC will win. Why? 1. 'SC is my #1 2. UCLA lost to ND and 'SC shut them out 3. I know some people say that 'SC lostto Stanford and Oregon and UCLA beat both those teams...that's nice, but 'SC beat everyone UCLA lost to...UofA, ASU, WSU, ND...need I say more?

"the game" review!
oh wow!
It was seriously the best game I have seen in Sun Devil Stadium all year. Even when ASU beat Cal and they almost knocked down the goal posts.
Now with USC being my #1 and ASU being my #2 it was weird not cheering for ASU at Sun Devil Stadium, but #1 ALWAYS tops #2 and that's just how it went Thursday night!
When we got there the team were just about to go on teh field to warmup and we saw most everyone. I tried to get some good shots, but I didn't get that lucky. The guy sitting in front of me said that I could walk to the tunnel and meet the players, so I dragged my sister along and went, but we had to move 'cause they were closing the gate.
When we scored the first touchdown I had to talk some smack with the ASU fans, but then ASU came back and scored ASAP and I almost went deaf...that wasn't so fun.
It was an exciting game for the most part, partly because it was my first 'SC game in person (not counting ASU beating USC in basketball last Feb) and it was a huge rush.
At the end of the game I was standing at the end zone gate and Deuce Lutui was standing about 5 feet away from me, and then, I caught a quick glimpse of JDB through the gate. Next year, I really want to drive/fly to LA for the
USC v ASU game!

I know it's a little late considering 2 top ten teams have already played...but better late than never...
1. LSU lost to unraked Arkansas
2. Kansas plays 4. Mizzou tomorrow. I am all about the Tigers on this one
3. WVU plays 20. UConn and I really don't care about this game. I could go with the whle UConn route because that would leave more room for 'SC to move up :-D
4. Mizzou plays 2. Kansas. See above.
5. Ohio State is bye and praying for a few top teams to tumble...they have at least two off the bat...

10. OU plays Oklahoma State. I feel about this game the same I feel about the WV VaTech game...

I am SO on top of my game this week...so this week since my boys are SO close to being back in the "Top Ten" where they deserve to be...the "Top 11"
Like last week the number will be [bcs/ap].
[1/1] LSU plays Ole Miss in a SEC showdown
[2/2] Oregon plays UofA this Thursday. I'll watch this game at my usual Thursday night hangout...the Gym. Now...UofA has had a few almost wins..they ALMOST beat 'SC they beat Washington and UCLA. They can do it if they put their minds to it :-D
[3/4] Kansas plays Iowa State...
[4/3] OU...who plays Texas Tech who should beat OU because I said so?

Fiesta Bowl...
Could be a possibility for 'SC according to Scott Wolf who was on Petros Papadakis' show on AM 570 in LaLaLand!!
That would be AMAZING. That would giv me a second opportunity this season to see 'SC play. Granted I'd have to get Fiesta Bowl tickets, but still!

The Ultimate Football Weekend...
is only two weeks away!!
On 11/22 I get to see my #1 and #2 college teams duke it out on the 3rd anniversary of my 21st birthday :-D
THEN on Sunday 11/25 I get to see the Cards re-beat the niners!
That is going to be the ultimate football weekend! I am beyond excited. I'm already thinking of my ESPN banner and what it's going to say...

NFL and The Cards
I have been superslacking with the NFL posts...I know. It's not because Leinart is out and it's not because the Cards started to lose. I stil lhave faith in them, and the team, but it's just that I am so wrapped up in this dramatic college football season I simply cannot focus!!!
On a happier note...
John Jay and Rich from KISS FM in Phoenix, did a fashion show with Leinart, Fitzgerald and Adrian Wilson...I think those are all the players...there might have been more. Anyway, Matt had his sling off!!!! That made me so happy!

LSU [2/2] plays Louisana Tech....and then they say USC has a "weak" schedule
Oregon [3/3] is BYE
Kansas [4/5] plays Oklahoma State...now Oklahoma State is a team that ALMOST beat Texas last week
OU [5/4] plays Baylor..I am pretty sure OU will win but we shall see

why the BCS sucks....
Does the SEC own the BCS???!?!?!?
I mean seriously.....
IF USC had three losses they SO would not be in the Top 25....ASU lost to a Top ranked team and they droped FIVE spots, but Florida is still ranked ahead of USC with THREE losses?!
They were talking on Gameday that hopefully in 5-10 years they will have a better playoff system...I agree. IT should be like the NFL. Granted there are WAY more teams....but they do it in March Madness with basketball.
I'm totally for a legit playoff system...redraw the conferences if you need to...but rankings are stupid. Strength of schedule doesn't play a part in it because then you wouldn't have teams that are as high up...as high as they are...
